When inserting many items (>800) into an insert-layer, the initial load will take forever (>15s). This is currently not the case with a smartlist-layer.
We have previously used a smartlist in the MIA app for displaying all >800 job offers but as soon as smartlists get deprecated in a future version, we would need a fix for the bad performance.
